Our clinical lead, Dr Jo Burgin, plays a central role in this mission. About Dr Jo Burgin Dr Jo Burgin is a Clinical Lead at Bristol Menopause Clinic and an Honorary Researcher at the University of Bristol. Her academic work focuses on menopause and midlife women’s health, with a particular interest in improving diagnosis, access to care, and the lived experience of women going through hormonal transition. Jo’s dual role in both clinical practice and academic research allows her to bridge the gap between real-world patient experience and emerging scientific evidence. Her research contributes to shaping better understanding, treatment, and support for women across the UK and beyond.
