About
This test is specifically designed to provide a detailed understanding of hormonal and thyroid health. It is particularly beneficial for identifying hormonal fluctuations, confirming the transition into perimenopause, and guiding treatment plans to effectively manage related symptoms. By focusing on key hormones and thyroid markers, this test offers valuable insights for women navigating changes in their reproductive and overall health.
When to Take This Test:
This test should be taken on Day 2–5 of your menstrual cycle, as this is when hormone levels such as FSH, LH, and Oestradiol are most accurately reflective of your reproductive health.
What’s Included in the Test:
FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): Measures ovarian function and identifies hormonal changes linked to perimenopause.
LH (Luteinizing Hormone): Evaluates reproductive health and ovulation status.
Oestradiol: Tracks oestrogen levels crucial for menstrual cycle regulation and perimenopause confirmation.
Prolactin: Assesses hormone levels that influence ovulation and menstrual cycle regularity.
Testosterone & SHBG (Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin): Evaluates androgen balance and hormone availability in the body.
Free Androgen Index: Provides a calculated ratio to assess active androgen levels.
Total Thyroxine (T4), Free Thyroxine (T4), and TSH: Measures thyroid hormone production and overall thyroid function.
Thyroglobulin Antibodies & Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies: Identifies autoimmune conditions affecting the thyroid.
